What do I have to do for returning the vehicle? All drop-offs are self-service as well. Staff will be on-site during business hours in case of questions.

Please arrive at the depot for dropping off your campervan at the scheduled day & time of drop-off. See your confirmation email or rental agreement for the drop-off date & time that you have booked.

The drop-off instructions are simple... Please return your Spaceship at the correct location on the right day in the same condition you received it; washed, clean and rubbish free. You don't need to wash the bedding & linen or empty the freshwater tank.

If your campervan has a toilet - self-contained campervan - make sure you empty and clean the toilet and grey water as per the instructions provided! Even if you have added a Speedy Return Pack, the toilet must always be emptied & cleaned. $300 fee applies for dirty/un-sanitised portable toilet returns.

Park the vehicle at the depot, take your stuff out, lock the vehicle and drop the keys in the mailbox/key-drop (in or next to the front door of the Auckland depot and on the entry side gate of the Christchurch depot). Please do not put the keys in the lockbox used during pick-up. These are only for pick-ups. Just drop the keys in the mailbox / key drop.
