No, we don’t take the $18,000 or $9,000 Vehicle Write-Off Liability as bond when you pick up your campervan. However, if the vehicle is deemed a total write-off, you would be responsible for that amount under the Basic Insurance excess. The bond we do freeze the day before you pick up your campervan is $5,000 on Basic Insurance or $3,000 on Partial Insurance.
