We think the fridge does not work, what can we do?

First, make sure the power switch of the campervan is switched on. See below for info about how it works for each campervan category.

Second, make sure the power switch of the fridge is turned on. It's the dial on the fridge itself, when it is turned all the way to the left, the fridge is switched off. Set the dial to 2, which is a nice temperature to keep food cold while not using too much power.

Dream Sleeper Mini: where to find the power switches

The Dream Sleeper Mini has two power switches. One is located next to the fridge, at the back, which you'll see when you open the boot. The switch - circled in red in the image below - is the main switch to turn on the power for the Smart Battery system. This needs to be switched on when you pick up your campervan. The dial - circled in blue in the image below - is the power switch for the fridge: set it to 2 for the optimal temperature.

The second power switch is located on the inside, on the other side of the kitchen sink, near the head-end of the bed. The second switch can be used to turn off the power at night without having to exit the vehicle. Some travellers prefer to switch off the power (and fridge) at night as the soft humming of the fridge bothers them. However, sometimes when you move the matras during the day, it can happen that it accidentally hits that power switch and turns off the power.

All other campervans: where to find the power switch

The power switch is located on that white box on the side of the bed, you'll see it when you open the sliding door. The silver switch on top - circled in red in the image below - is the main switch to turn on the power for the Smart Battery system. This needs to be switched on when you pick up your campervan.
