Wondering where the pick up and drop off point of Spaceships Rentals New Zealand are? Spaceships campervans can only be picked up and dropped off at an official Spaceships depot. Sometimes people ask: "Can we collect the vehicle at the airport? Or do you have a branch in city/town ABC or XYZ?"

All your questions about where to pick up / collect a Spaceship and where to drop it off will be answered here.

You can pick up and drop off your Spaceship in Auckland and Christchurch. As we don't charge one-way fees, you don't have to drop off your campervan at the same location. You can book it as a one-way trip via our online booking system and you'll see that no fee for one-way is added.

  • Our Auckland depot is located in Onehunga, which is between the city and airport (13 km from the airport and 10 km from the city). See map & directions to our Auckland depot.

  • Our Christchurch depot is located near the airport (2.2 km). See map & directions to our Christchurch depot. This depot is so close to the airport, you can even walk from the arrivals hall to our Christchurch depot.

How to get to the Spaceships depots

If you hire your campervan for 28 days or more and you made the booking on or after 1 July 2024, you qualify for Transfer Credit, our gift to you so you can arrange the transfer yourself. This is an easier and more flexible transfer option.
