Reading and signing the rental agreement / the rental contract is part of the Online Check-in System. In the last tab of the process (the 5th tab called 'Sign & Send'), you can open the rental agreement to read it, then sign it via that white area between the words "Rental Agreement" and the text "I [name] have read...". You can use your finger on touch screen / phone screen or mouse when using a laptop/desktop to sign the contract.

Once signed and saved - make sure to save your signature - you can download the signed contract by clicking on the link to read the contract, where you see the underlined words 'rental agreement'. It can then be saved / printed as PDF so you can keep it for your records, or save it on your phone to have it with you when you're on your road trip.

Don't worry if your signature doesn't look right or neat in that preview area. The preview always looks a bit pixel-y and compressed. It will look perfect on the rental agreement. No worries.
