The bond is never taken from your account. We simply freeze it on your card, which is a reservation, not a payment. When the vehicle is returned in the same condition the reservation will be "unfrozen" aka released. As it isn’t a payment it isn’t visible on your statement.
The money never leaves your account, it is simply blocked. Therefore there won’t be a refund showing on your statement when it is released. You can use the money again once it has been released, which will happen when you drop off the vehicle.
It depends on your bank or credit card company when the money can be used again. It can take a few days for them to process it once we have released it.
