When the engine of your Spaceships is turned off, features like the aircon & heating are turned off as well. Just like in your car at home.
The smart battery system of your Spaceships campervan powers internal camping items like the fridge, USB ports, lights etc.
To let extra fresh air in during warm New Zealand nights, there are two options:
Leave the side windows open. Just a little bit will be enough to get a nice airflow going. Our Dream Sleeper Mini comes with bug nets so you can even leave the windows open fully. Mosquito nets are available as an optional accessory for the other campervan models.
Use the rear awning of the campervan (available on all, except the Dream Sleeper Mini). That's a tent-like construction on the back of the campervan. The bed will be partially extended and you'll be covered by the tent aka rear awning. It'll give you more space and a nice airflow.
See for more info, specifications, images and videos on how to use the rear awning on the vehicle page of each vehicle via our Self-Service Info Pages. Or compare all campervans and see the features & specifications of each model.
