It only takes a deposit of 20% to make a Spaceships booking. The remaining 80% can be paid later - before the scheduled day of pick-up - via our secure payment system. In between the booking date and the pick-up date you have the freedom to manage your booking via our Online Check-in Portal, for example to change the level of insurance, add or remove accessories and more.

When you make changes to your booking before the start of your road trip, the dollar amount of your booking changes accordingly. This happens when you ask us to change the travel dates or add or remove things from your booking via the Online Checkk-in Portal.

At the start of your road trip the remaining balance needs to be $0, it needs to be paid in full. If you owe us money at the start of your road trip aka there is a remaining balance, you'll need to pay that amount. If you have overpaid us at the start of the road trip the overpaid amount will be refunded, of course. Spaceships is a customer-friendly campervan hire company.

You can check the remaining balance of your booking via our secure payment system. The system shows you the balance of your booking and you can decide how much you want to pay now, if there is money to be paid. Just keep in mind, your booking must be paid in full before the start of your road trip.
