The Dream Sleeper Mini campervan and Beta 2S Self-Contained Campervan come with a sink, tap and thus have running water (cold). If you think the tap doesn't work - even though you filled the tank, here are the steps to check and/or fix the issue.
Issue: Air Bubble in Waterline
If your freshwater tank is full but you're having trouble getting water from the tap, there may be an air bubble in the waterline. To resolve this, place your hand over the end of the tap where the water usually flows out, then use the tap as if you're pumping water. Repeat this a few times while keeping your hand over the tap opening. This should help release the air bubble.
Once done, remove your hand and try the tap again. You should see the water flowing normally, and the issue will be resolved.
Issue: Dry Pump / Seal Folded Over
Or it could be a dry pump or a seal in the one-way valve folded over, allowing water to drain back down instead of staying in the pump. You can fix this by priming the pump manually.
Place your finger over the tap to block it.
Pump the handle upward, keeping the tap blocked.
Remove your finger on the downward stroke.
Repeat this process a few times to help the pump draw water and restore normal flow.
Once you’ve primed the pump, use the tap to see if water flows normally. If it does, the issue was likely just a dry pump or seal folded over.
Specific tips for the Beta 2S Self-Contained Campervan
If the electric pump of the water tap isn't working, please check if you have re-connected the electric pump's cable when you refilled the freshwater tank.
