Short answer: for most campervans, DO NOT use AdBlue. The Cosmo VW Campervan is the only exception - more on that below.

All Spaceships campervans - except the Cosmo - have petrol engines and adding AdBlue will ruin the engine, which will be a very expensive repair. Please be careful when getting petrol in some areas in New Zealand as there are AdBlue pumps that look like normal petrol pumps. But they are always located next to the diesel pump so you'll know you're at the wrong pump.

As the Mr.Fusion extension hasn't been invented yet, all other Spaceships run on petrol, even our DeLorean, Doc Brown and Marty McFly campervans. Only petrol fuel is needed to power your Spaceship!

The exception: the Cosmo VW Campervan, which comes with a diesel engine. The Cosmo does use AdBlue, as shown in the How To Use The Cosmo Campervan video. But you do not need to check or refill the AdBlue tank of the Cosmo: our crew always makes sure it leaves the depot with enough AdBlue for your road trip. You do not need to refill the AdBlue tank of the Cosmo Campervan, unless instructed to do so by our crew or by Roadside Assistance (NZRA).
