The mains plug optional accessory (Gadget Charging Pack) is an external power cord, so it allows you to plug into powered campsites to run a heater, charge a cell phone, laptop, camera or even use a hairdryer. A transformer or adaptor will be needed to fit NZ three-point sockets.
Our latest addition to the fleet, the Cosmo VW Campervan does come with a mains plug included and can be plugged in at powered campsites. It also comes with the famous smart-battery system, a leisure battery (second battery for off-grid use) and a solar panel on its roof to charge the batteries.
