Most Spaceships campervans cannot be plugged into a powered campsite. Therefore you can camp at unpowered campsites, meaning you have heaps of free or budget campsites to choose from. Most Spaceships are self-charging, they don't need to be and can't be plugged in.

Also, you can't plug anything into most Spaceships, except for a USB plug to charge small devices like smartphones or cameras.

The exception to this are the amazing campervans we've added in 2026 to the fleet.

• Cosmo VW Campervan does come with a mains plug and can be plugged in at powered campsites. But it also comes with the famous smart-battery system, a leisure battery (second battery for off-grid use) and a solar panel on its roof to charge the batteries.

• Sigma Campervan is our next level Estima campervan. Just like our other Estima campervans it cannot be plugged in so you can stay at unpowered campsites. But it does come with a powerful leisure battery (second battery), solar panel on its roof and a built-in inverter so you can plug in 220V devices like at home.
