The bed set-up of the Beta Campervan and Beta 2S Self-Contained Campervan are identical. You can set up the bed in two ways: to sleep fully inside or partially extended outwards. The bed set-up of the Dream Sleeper Mini is completely different.
Bed set-up of Beta and Beta 2S Self-Contained
These campervans come with one wooden board for the bed, which creates bed length of 1.9m. Use the three blue mattress sections to create the bed.
For the bed configuration, you can choose to set it up in two different ways:
Internal aka sleeping fully inside. Simply place the bed board on the bed extension bars inside the vehicle, they are attached to the storage box: pull 'em out and place the bed board on it.
External aka partially extended outwards combined with the rear awning as cover. How to set it up is explained here.
See our How-To Videos for a detailed explanation and a step by step show-around of how to set up the bed in each campervan category.
Extending the bed to 2.3m long
For both options it is possible to create a 2.3m bed length. However the 2.3m extended bed is an optional paid extra, which means you'll get an extra aka second bed board and an extra mattress piece. This can be added via the Online Check-in Portal and is only available for the Beta and the Beta 2S Self-Contained Campervans.
